PM RIM's mythical BlackBerry Storm 3 one of the products that show up a few months with just enough new information, you have to believe that it is real and it eventually will, before slithering back into the night, the entire radio-quiet for another month or two. We have no doubt that the phone is real at this point, but given the cool reception Storm 2 received, we are surprised RIM does not have pushed harder to get updated device to market--only thing we can count on is that the carrier partners keep sending it back for tweaks. Speaking of tweaks, BGR says we can expect a phone with a 1.2 GHz processor (same as the alleged Torch 2) together with a 3.7 WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, dual-band WiFi with UMA support, mobile hotspot capability and BlackBerry OS 6.1. Word has it there will be at least two versions released in the world--code-named Monaca and Monza--and it is on track for September release. It is a good thing, if those specifications are not going to blow anyone away as we approach Q4 ' 11.
